SUMMARY:2023 Pacific Defense Contracting Summit
DESCRIPTION:Find out how $886 Billion in 2024 Defense Spending will translate into military contracting opportunities throughout the Pacific Region by attending the Top Pacific Defense Conference & Expo of 2023! The FY 2024 Defense Budget includes $9.1 Billion in support of the Pacific Deterrence Initiative (PDI)\, a 40% increase from FYI 2023! \nTop Congressional and Department of Defense Leaders consider USINDOPACOM as our most important long-term military theater\, with billions of new dollars being allocated for contracts because of the rapidly escalating threat of Chinese Military Aggression\, along with an unstable North Korea. \nCongressman Rob Wittman (VA-01)\, Vice Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee\, has stated\, “The Chinese Communist Party remains the most pressing threat the United States has faced in 30 years – it is the threat of our lifetime. Beijing’s recent announcement that they will grow their military budget by over 7% this year should serve as a sobering reminder that the CCP is building a world-class military to drive America out of the Pacific.” \nThe U.S. and Australia are also strengthening defense ties and looking to industry for the latest defense services and products. Last week on Capitol Hill\, U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense Mara Karlin told lawmakers that the development of new technologies are critical to U.S. Pacific defense and to the defense of Australia. \nTo learn more about our upcoming Defense Contracting Summits\, visit our website for more information: www.usdlf.org
