SUMMARY:Update on SPRS Reporting and DIBCAC Medium Assessments
DESCRIPTION:First there was DFARS 7012. Then 7019 and 7020. Then CMMC 2.0. What should defense contractors do to keep up with what seems like a constantly shifting landscape of federal and DoD cybersecurity regulations? \nTo stay current on government requirements and expectations\, join guest speaker John Ellis\, Director of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)’s Software Division and one of the founders of the Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center (DIBCAC) for this new webinar from the Cyber Collaboration Center on Thursday May 5 at 4:00 PM ET. \nMr. Ellis will provide more insight into how the cybersecurity compliance of small and medium-sized contractors is being assessed currently and what the plans are for the future. The DIBCAC has begun conducting Medium confidence assessments on small and medium-sized contractors\, reviewing System Security Plans to determine whether contractor cybersecurity status is being reported accurately through Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) across the supply chain\, and identify areas that need improvement. Ellis is consistently one of the most popular and informative speakers in the Cyber Collaboration Center webinar series\, and will deliver the most current information available. \nYou’ll also learn more about how SPRS provides government procurement personnel with information that can be used to assess cyber risk\, and experts from eResilience will review strategies and best practices for accurate reporting. \nGet the latest information directly from industry and government cybersecurity thought leaders in this new webinar from the Cyber Collaboration Center.
