Mr. Paul Essig’s military career spanned 25 years during which time he was a Navy pilot, Squadron Commander, Joint Staff Action Officer, Navy Staff Requirements Officer and the Assistant Chief of Naval Research. After his military career, he became a successful Business Development executive for defense industrial base and manufacturing companies and is now a small business consultant and program manager for several Navy support contracts. His experiences provide first person insights into the types of people one can expect to meet at defense related conferences and events: the warfighter, the government acquisition related professional and system integrators.
